Desert landscape.

Starting this year of the Dragon with a very challenging and unique Feng Shui project in the Sahara Desert, Morocco.

Also the beginning of Fire period 9, which comes with a powerful and unexpected twist for us to absorb.

This incredible experience in the desert, where we are part of the sky just like the stars, planets and comets, where the silence is such that the only noise is our breathing and where the sand is the only path you will see.

This strong Earth element environment with all the sand and the pure fire element of the sun, makes it one of the most powerful but also challenging places on earth to be, where every single living creature struggles to survive in these conditions.

Therefore, making it habitable and suitable for this difficult environment, offering a remote, intimate and luxurious experience will be the ultimate objective of the entire team involved, with the study of feng shui, the mentors and the architects.

Copal for space clearing.

Copal has been used for thousands of years for energetic cleaning of spaces, ideal for purification, renewal and protection.

The Mayan and Inca people used copal smoke, a resin from tropical trees, for sacred rituals, curing people from illnesses and other disorders, as well as clearing spaces.

It’s smell is intense and woody, with herbal and resinous notes and nowadays the use of copal incense is more common for regular space clearing.

It is one of the most subtle resins, promoting vibrational increase and for many, copal also helps to calm and relax.

The 5 Elements in Riviera Maya

Here’s a trip immersed in new discoveries through Mexican lands and the Caribbean Sea, ancient lands of ancient people and with a strong presence of their ancestry. There would certainly still be a lot to discover here, but I was already amazed by what I saw, such a harmonious combination of the 5 elements in this soulful place, which always transports me to Feng Shui.

Check out my photos and see how they relate with the elements, can you tell?

1- Water Element
2- Wood Element
3- Fire Element
4 – Earth Element
5 – Metal Element

Mountain energy.

For the practice of Feng Shui, mountain energy has really a lot to say.
In reading the Luo Pan compass, for example, any direction (cardinal point) is associated with 3 mountains, yin or yang, that help in the deeper interpretation of the study in question.

Also in its form, in China the symbolism that is inherent to mountains determines their auspiciousness for the people who live in that region, which can be very good or on the contrary not at all beneficial, therefore there are several terms and classifications for mountains, such as dragon mountains.

In general, mountain representations are linked to the earth element, meaning support, stability and protection, which is why it is used in the location of buildings and within spaces precisely to attract these beneficial energies to the inhabitants.

Inside the building, the mountain representation should also be applied when placing tables, beds and other seating furniture, positioning them in front of a supporting wall. In order to achieve well-being, success and empowerment we should begin with the basic for human life, that we feel safe.

Good or bad Feng Shui?

As a Feng Shui practitioner and consultant, I’m often asked when I enter someone’s home if the house has good or bad Feng Shui and people often start listing questions about something they read somewhere.

In fact, the answer is always the same, although some of us might have a first impression of the space , I have no way of evaluating this unless I carry out an in-depth study of the house and its inhabitants.

This is due to the fact that it is generally considered that the energy of spaces only occurs within them, which makes it good or bad, but here is the important message: around 70% of the energy comes from outside and 30% are the inhabitants themselves who bring inside.

Therefore, most of the energy within spaces actually comes from its inhabitants, from the energetic quality that comes from doors and windows and these are one of the key aspects when carrying out a Feng Shui study, remembering that even within our home, the entire environment and surroundings have a huge influence on us.
