How to bring a beneficial energy to our personal work desk?

A messy desk, it’s not a good Feng Shui, of course, while we are working we can certainly have materials around us, but when we finish we should keep it clean and clear.

A desk in disorder can bring a confusing state of mind as well as feeling overwhelmed, with no strength or will to work.

Also pay attention to some important details:

  • Any pointed corner around can create a bad energy flow;
  • Open shelves should be avoided or place the books so that they are aligned with the shelves;
  • Place flowers or a plant near the computer;
  • Benefit from natural light placing the desk near a window;
  • Don’t sit with your back to a door;
  • Avoid placing the desk directly in front of the door;
  • Have a comfortable chair and adjust your sitting in a proper position while at the computer.
  • For powerful results ask for professional help and place yourself towards one of your best directions.

And most important: “the only way to do great work is to love what you do” – Steve Jobs.

Where’s the best place to sit around the table?

For happy social events and even on a daily basis, we can apply some easy Feng Shui advices about proper sitting:

  • Never sit nobody directly beneath a beam;
  • Placing women and men alternately is quite good for keeping a good balance between yin and yang;
  • Never sit anyone at the corner of the table if this square or rectangular;
  • If the number of guests exceeds the number of chairs available, maybe a walking dinner is the best option;
  • Finally, for best results calculate each person’s Ki astrology number and sit them according to at least one of the 4 more auspicious directions.

Open spaces and beams.

Open spaces can bring us a feeling of clearness and luminosity, the more open they are, the more energy can flow freely.

But sometimes in order to have an open space, we might have to place beams to support the house. And this structure can cause bad Feng Shui to its inhabitants if we don’t pay attention to some important aspects:

  • Never place the bed, sofa or dining table near a beam, in a way that nobody sits or sleeps directly beneath it;
  • Placing plants or wind bells hanged will dissolve this bad energy that comes from this structure;
  • It may occur that plants don’t last so long when placed here, in fact, they eventually end up succumbing, so always replace them as soon as you notice this or consider using artificial plants;
  • Be aware that they can become oppressive to us when placed over a bed or a living room as they eliminate the vitality of people who are in front of or below them.

When practicing Feng Shui we must remember that it’s impossible to do everything in a right way, but when the energy is rightly applied and directed it will accomplish anything.

“Regretting what we don’t have, is wasting what we already have.”Chinese proverb.

Some of us may not own a house, it can be rented or even borrowed, but that’s not an excuse for us to do not take care of it.

While practicing Feng Shui, there were times that I noticed a feeling of neglect between a home and its inhabitants and this happened mostly with spaces that were rented or belonged to someone else.

Do you think energy and vibration knows who the owner is? The answer is no, and what we do in the space we live in will react in resonance.

By the time we accept the challenge of every home and start improving its energy in our own behalf, we might come to an understanding, that the home we live is our shelter, our nest, our healer even when it’s not ours in paper.

For this reason, always try to take good care of your home and surely you will receive the same back to you.💚✨

Valuing our home…

Did you know that when we value our homes with actions, in order to improve its functionality and energy, we are also increasing our own personal success?

Maybe we don’t have the possibility to have the home of our dreams and with all the proper Feng Shui details, but we can certainly make some small changes in order to enhance our space potential.

In this particular kitchen for example, the stove and the sink are to close to each other, and as we know, water and fire element don’t combine.

So, to achieve a better balance we can place tree elements, such as a plant or a wood countertop between them, this way we will be harmonizing kitchens beneficial cycle.

And remember, if there is a problem, try to find a solution, and if there is solution there is progress.
