Fireplaces at home.

As we enter the colder seasons, and for those who benefit from this great energy boost, fireplaces take a very important role in every space.

Back in ancient times, they were used to cook, warm and protect,
being extremely well cared for and a pivotal point of family life.

Nowadays, fireplaces are no longer a vital source of life and tend to be used more in the celebrations or weekends when we have the time to be around it.

This strong fire element should always be under supervision and we should never light a fire and leave the house, this energy is able to bring us light, heat and happiness but also it can explode and destroy with great violence.

In Feng Shui practice, the fireplace is like a hole in the house where energy can also escape, so having a door or a protection grid is fundamental, especially with children around.

In terms of form, the chimneys that come out from the wall are not very good for those who sit near them, nevertheless these protrusions or sharp corners can be softened with shelves or baskets of wood.

The placement is also really important, but only with deeper knowledge of the house with a Feng Shui study, we can
find the best spot for placing fireplaces.
