Dining spaces are such an important part of the house, it’s where we share our food with friends and family and we should pay attention to it specially right now.
In the past few months with this difficult situation we are all going through, I have been noticing that this part of the home is very busy, meals all the time, studies and work, and all sorts of stuff over the dining table.
So in order to achieve the best energy flow in this space and giving it due importance, here’s what we can do:
- keep the table free from clutter;
- use fresh fruit for the table center;
- place a big mirror in that area, for Feng Shui experts it represents multiplying food and family prosperity;
- use that area for meals mostly, sometimes we tend to eat more in the kitchen;
- keep this space clean and sparkle;
- a good lighting is crucial;
- last but not least, stay away from television when you are having your meals, don’t let children play with iPads and games at the table, keep your telephones out and don’t answer calls or check notifications. All of this are disturbing items for a healthy meal.
